No connection with the sensor

Take the following steps if there is no connection with the sensor:

  • Check if the sensor is attached to the crank and not rotated -> see image;
  • Restart the route.

If there is still no connection, proceed with the following steps:

  • Reboot the system;
  • Go to 'Menu' -> BLE settings -> Disconnect -> then select the Sensor again and wait for the battery percentage. Replace the battery if it indicates less than 15%;
  • Reset the sensor by removing the cover at the back of the sensor. Take out the battery holder and then insert it back;
  • Restart the system.

To replace or reset the cadence sensor battery

The sensor uses a CR2032 battery. The LED flashes red after two revolutions when the battery is almost empty and needs to be replaced. Replacing the battery is done as follows:

  1. Locate the round battery cover at the back of the sensor.
  2. Turn the cover (1) counterclockwise until it unlocks and is loose enough to remove.
  3. Remove the cover and the battery if it is (almost) empty (2).
  4. Wait for 30 seconds.
  5. Insert the new battery (3). Note that this step is not necessary for resetting.
    • NOTE: Be careful not to damage the sealing ring or electronics.
  6. Turn the cover clockwise until it clicks into place.
    • NOTE: The LED will flash red and green for a few seconds after replacing the battery. When the LED flashes green and then stops, the device is active and ready to transmit data.

  1. Internet speed: at least 20 Mb/s;
  2. Wifi is good and stable. In the event of a bad connection (connection problems), the first option is to try a wired network;
  3. Android 7.1 or above on Tablet, Android mini PC or Android TV box;
  4. Quad-core Cortex-A53 up to 1.5GHz or beter;
  5. Onboard DDR3L 2GB Memory or more;
  6. Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy (BLE) variant or hoger;

For connection to Smart TV, also with Android platform, we have chosen to supply an Android TV box as standard. System requirements 3 to 6 are then automatically met.
